We got Jibo and downloaded the iPhone 6 application to help us connect the Jibo to office network and setup initial users. All of that worked fine. The next day, however, we went to launch to application to add a new user but the iPhone application exits immediately at launch. We see the white screen with blue Jibo logo if we start the app. After it exits/minimizes we can see a different screen in the save app image that says “Do you want to be notified when content is added to your gallery” which we previous said “no” to.
If we forcefully kill and restart the app, we get the same exact behavior, it shows Jibo logo before backgrounding itself while showing preview of gallery setting question.
This is a huge problem for us as we’ve taken it to another location with a different WiFi and are unable to use the iPhone app to change it to use this new network. We’ve this $800 piece of equipment has been bricked since the iPhone app keeps exiting and the Jibo won’t do anything without network connection.
