Jibo Emergency Response System


Continuing the discussion from Jibo Emergency Response Demo:

I really like the idea of the concept, but think some of the wording and phrases need to be ironed out. For example it might be better for the activation phrase to fit with less common phrases. Something more specific like, “Hey Jibo, I need help, call the police” instead of something as simple as “Hey Jibo, I need help”. It would also be nice if there was an algorithm or speech training program to analyze and respond to differences in a persons pitch, tone, and other verbal cues that could accurately discriminate between a real emergency in order to eliminate false positive situations.
